What day should we arrive to Cartagena?

Answer

We are hoping people arrive 27th at the latest. We will have optional tours and activities planned the days before if you are in town. At the end of the day, you are travelling to a destination wedding! Make a vacation out of it.

Is this a wedding?

Answer

No! Legally we can't be married until we move to the United States. This is a Ceremony of Love, as many of Daniela's family and friends will not be able to attend in the United States. With that PLEASE do not post any pictures of Daniela in a white dress.

What is a Guayabera?

Answer

They are the traditional Caribbean dress shirt. It's hot and sunny, so we want you to be comfortable. You can either buy them in Cartagena when you arrive or get them beforehand online.

What are tropical colors?

The brighter and more obnoxious the better! Purples, Reds, Greens, Blues, Yellows, etc

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are plenty of hotels and airbnbs throughout the city. We recommend staying in the Historical Center or Bocagrande.

Does Uber exist in Cartagena?

Answer

Yes! Along with other ride apps like Cabify and Indriver, you can use uber in Cartagena. It is highly recommended to use these apps when you arrive to the city as taxis, especially from the airport, are known to overcharge tourists.
