We're getting married!

Our love story begins with a CCU mission trip to Israel, which Joseph was helping lead. We had interacted with each other before and were both early members of a new club on campus dedicated to studying the theology of worship music. Through both of these, we got to spend time with each other, but neither of us really thought too much about the other until we went on the mission trip during the summer of 2023. Over the three and a half weeks of the trip, we began to take more notice of each other, getting to have numerous conversations in which we found ourselves holding the same values and goals. Joseph had started to be interested in Clara, but he kept from mentioning anything until we had returned from Israel. After getting home, Joseph called Clara and asked if she wanted to get coffee. She agreed and when we finally met each other for coffee we easily spent over three hours simply talking and finding even more things in common. After a few more dates we made things official and spent the next year with each other having wonderful adventures. After 13 wonderful months, which Clara felt was far too long ;) Joseph popped the big question! Now we are happily awaiting the most wonderful day of our lives!
