How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

The best way to get to the wedding venue is by car. Once at the wedding venue entrance, a wedding venue shuttle will take you to our ceremony and reception site.

Are the ceremony and reception location at the same place?

Answer

Yes, they are! Both the ceremony site and reception hall are right next to each other.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors with minimal shade. The cocktail reception will be also held outdoors. The dinner and reception will be held in a large air conditioned tent.

Where do I stay?

Answer

The Inn on Herrington Bay is hotel on the resort, which would be most convenient. We also have a small block available at Rod and Reel in Chesapeake Beach, which is just 10 minutes south. AirBNB/VRBO also has many options around in the area. There are many weddings being held all along the Chesapeake Bay so don't hesitate too long to book!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a large parking lot across the stress from the venue. Shuttle service will be provided to the hotel rooms with blocks.

What is the best way to get around the area?

Answer

Use the shuttles between the venue and the hotel. Otherwise there will be Lyft/Uber available in the area, but this is more of a rural region of Maryland. There may be delays. Having your own vehicle/transportation will allow for the most convenient site seeing in the area.

Are children allowed at this wedding?

Answer

We would love to have all our guests children around to celebrate. However as this venue is open to the outdoors and the water including an open dock, we will not be able to accommodate children under 13 at our wedding.

Will there be food served at the wedding?

Answer

There will be hors d'oeuvres served at a cocktail hour followed by a full dinner service with dessert.
