Joe & Cailin first met freshman year of college. They caught each other's eye in kinesiology class. They would walk out of class together and talk, but never knew the other's name. Once that class ended, they did not cross paths for a couple months. They bumped into each other at a campus wide game night. There they reconnected and finally learned each other's names! They figured out that they would soon have another class together. Not long after, they shared a class and saw each other at a neon glow night at school. The two struck up a conversation about class. It just so happened that Joe and Cailin were invited by faculty to a lunch-in to interview potential professors. While talking at the glow night, Cailin offered for Joe to reach out if he hears of any upcoming lunch-ins. Joe snatched up that opportunity and reached out a couple days later! Phone numbers were exchanged and they've been texting ever since! They got to know each other very well over that summer and began dating day one of the next school year. Many sweet memories were made that year. Fast forward to this school year-- full of great memories and exciting conversations about their future together. On December 7, 2024, Joe completely surprised Cailin by proposing! His proposal surpassed any Cailin could imagine, and she was over the moon excited! They are thrilled to spend forever with each other! With Christ as their foundation, they know the best is yet to come!
