The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm, so we advise guests to get there 30 minutes early around 4:30 pm. This way you have enough time to find the venue, get parking, and settle in before it begins. Once the ceremony begins, late guests will be asked to wait to enter until after the ceremony.
Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed out on your invitation. However, we want all of our guests to feel comfortable. If you wish to bring a guest, don’t hesitate to reach out and let us know their name in advance so we can add them to the RSVP list. We kindly ask that you be mindful of who you invite as we want to ensure our wedding remains an intimate gathering of our close family and friends.
Besides the kids of our family and close friends, we kindly request you not bring your children unless specifically stated on your invite. Your invitation will be made out to “The {Your Last Name} Family” if your children have been invited.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. Wear whatever color you would like. If you’d like to complement our wedding theme, spring colors would be perfect. However, we kindly ask you to avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams!
The ceremony and reception will both be outdoor!
Yes! Both will take place at Crestview Dairy Events in Lees Summit.
There is onsite free parking lots provided which will have people directing it. People may also be dropped off directly in front of Crestview Dairy Events.
You can choose to either walk to the ceremony site or take a shuttle there! If you choose to walk, there will be signs and someone to guide everyone. You go through the main barn area, then under the big tent, turn left and follow the little white path that leads down to the Pergola. We’ll have signs by the tent with “ceremony” on them. If you choose to take the shuttle, the bus will be going back and forth from the parking lot to the Pergola.
To RSVP, please visit the “RSVP” page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than April 15th. We look forward to celebrating with you!
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer/videographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you.
No. We are having an alcohol-free wedding. But there will be different options of soda and sparkling cider!
We are registered on Amazon and you can find our registry link on the registry tab. We’d greatly appreciate contributions towards our future home. However, your presence is the best gift we can ask for!
You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “will not attend” so we can plan accordingly.
