Life has a way of throwing us curve balls when we least expect them. We met by chance at a mutual friends birthday party in 2017. This isnt your typical love story - there weren’t sparks. No love at first sight. I was so annoyed with Clint and wanted nothing to do with him. This went on for a full year. We would see each other here and there because of the same mutual friend. Then he grew on me, and I eventually agreed to go to dinner with him. If you ask him, this was our first date. If you ask me, it was free food. Things slowly progressed from that point on until November 20, 2019, we made our status official. Things seemed to catapult from that point on. Moving in together, planning and building our dream home, then finding out we were expecting our daughter in September, 2020. We were finally moving into our home, prepping and planning for the future, when on November 28, 2020, Clint asked me to marry him on our front porch. It took me about 5 minutes to fully comprehend what was going on, I thought it was a mean joke. But when I realized it was very much real - I said yes. We may be doing everything out of order, but I wouldn’t trade a single second of the life we continue to build together.
