Norwich or Stansted

The closest airports to the wedding are Norwich or London Stansted. It is around a 1.5 - 2 hour drive from London Stansted to Norwich or there is a direct train from Stansted to Norwich. Stansted Airport has a large variety of flights at a higher frequency whereas Norwich has minimal flights but you can go via Amsterdam. Norwich Train Station

There are plenty of trains to Norwich Station from various parts of the country. Oxnead Hall is around a 30 minute drive from Norwich Train Station.

There is plenty of parking at Oxnead Hall if you are planning on driving there. If you are wanting to book a taxi, here is a list of suggested companies. Accomodation

Oxnead Hall is set in the countryside, very close to the Norfolk Broads. There are some beautiful areas where you can stay, allowing you to explore the area. We recommend you looking on AirBnb or at hotels in the towns below. Alternatively, Oxnead Hall is only a 30 minute drive from Norwich City Centre so if you would like to be in a more central location then this is also a good option. Alysham- the closest historical town which is only 3 miles from Oxnead Hall, around a 10 minute drive. There are small independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs which can be explored and enjoyed. Coltishall- set on the Norfolk Broads, Coltishall has a beautiful riverfront with a variety of pubs. You can enjoy countryside walks here or enjoy a spot of watersports such as paddleboarding or kayaking if that's what you fancy! This is about a 10-15 minute drive from Oxnead Hall. The Black Boys Hotel- cosy historic Inn in Alysham's market square with character and good reviews. The Norfolk Mead Hotel- beautiful spa hotel in Coltishall. Hotel Wroxham- Riverside hotel in Hoveton on the Norfolk Broads. Wroxham is a more lively tourist destination which can be very popular in the summer. The Lodge at Salhouse- One of our favourite places to go for food in Norfolk. Set in the countryside, great for scenic walks. The Scarborough Country Inn- A charming country-house hotel and inn just outside of the town of North Walsham. Roughly a 20 minute drive from Oxnead Hall. Heydon Hall- This bed and breakfast is situated in the beautiful private village of Heydon which is only 20 minutes from Oxnead Hall. A real treat!
