What's on the menu?

Answer

We’re so excited to share a delicious meal with you, catered by Simmer and Salt! The menu will feature stuffed mushrooms, Caprese bites, spinach strawberry salad, Tuscan chicken, Steak Au Poivre, garlic mashed Yukon gold potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. If you have any dietary restrictions, we kindly encourage you to bring any special food items you may need to fully enjoy the celebration. For our after-party guests: as much as we’d love to include everyone for dinner, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional meals. That said, we’ll have a generous spread of cupcakes and drinks waiting for you when you arrive—we can’t wait to celebrate together!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to the intimate nature of our backyard wedding and limited space, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. We truly hope you understand and can celebrate with us as part of our closest circle. Thank you for being part of our celebration!

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our backyard wedding and limited space, we’ve made the decision to keep the guest list adult-only. We are making a few exceptions for small infants who do not require a dinner seat. For those bringing infants, we kindly ask that if any fussiness arises during the ceremony, someone take the child inside to ensure a smooth experience for all guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and support in helping us create a special and memorable day for everyone. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow us to fully enjoy the moment and ensure our photographer can capture it. However, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like at the reception! We will have a shared drive that everyone will be able to upload their photos to.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will be held outdoors, surrounded by nature and the beauty of the season! We’re so excited to celebrate in such a beautiful setting. Please dress comfortably and consider bringing layers or sunscreen to stay comfortable throughout the day. We can’t wait to share this special moment with you!

Can we stay overnight?

Answer

Yes! For the safety and enjoyment of all, we encourage guests who plan to drink to avoid driving. If you're planning to stay the night, please bring your tent, sleeping bag, pillow, and any other overnight essentials. We’ll have a designated area for tents, and you’re welcome to set up either before or during our welcoming hour, which begins at 4 p.m.

Please share your photos with us!

Answer

Though we are asking for no photos to be taken during the ceremony, we welcome our guests to take all the pictures they want during the reception! We have paid for a photo sharing tool called POV - there will be a QR code on display for you to scan and you then can take up to 25 “digital” photos throughout the event that everyone can access. If you don’t use this tool and take pictures on your own, please please share them with us following the day!
