Joseph + Asia first met through a mutual friend after Bible talk. He wore this unforgettable bright red puffer jacket and she wore a beanie. Shortly after meeting they became close friends. Later, Joseph started to attend the same church as Asia then was later baptized. They went from talking over the phone, to face time then hanging out often. Although they faced real difficulty within their relationship, by the grace of God, their commitment to one another only grew. God did not give up on them. Their friendship blossomed into something so special. Feelings started to grow after getting to know one another. Some time later, Asia expressed her interest and it was mutual! Praise the Lord! As time began to pass, they began to date and fell head over heels in love with one another and the rest is history.

July 5, 2025 is when he proposed. It's a bit of a long story but here's how it happened.. Joseph decided to take Asia to all the special places that have significant meaning to both of them. It first started with him picking her up from her home & greeting her with flowers & a card reading "Enjoy the journey, love you" she immediately was excited. They then drove to the very first place they met. Antelope Valley College. Once they arrived, Asia was confused, she thought to herself "Did this man sign me up for a summer class I didn't know about?" after getting out, it hit her. "This is where we first met." Next, they came across one of the brothers who had a part in introducing them, he stood there with a card in his hand reading " A house where many come to pray" They then head to the church where they were both baptized & went to the prayer chapel where they began to pray & emotions started to rise. The room had sweet photos of them along the wall. Upon leaving, a sister with a bouquet of flowers & another card, greeted them & it read "To Ben where we opened loves first door. A walk of memories, just you & me & Jerry". At this point Asia is putting together the pieces & is just emotional at the thought of how thoughtful & intentional he's been. (mind you, she already had a strong feeling he was going to propose as soon as he asked to take her out on that day, woman's intuition!) After an hour and some change of driving, they arrive to Universal City walk where he asked her to be his girl friend, (in American Sign Language, because she's studying to become an interpreter) they soon meet up with brothers & sisters from both LB/AV ministries where they hangout & spend valuable time together. They then get Ben & Jerry's ice cream again like when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Towards the end, Asia is handed another bouquet of the most beautiful arranged flowers (straight from the Pinterest board) with another card (hint to the next place) it said "Time to eat, How you say market in Spanish?" At this point, they're both hungry & arrive at a "private" restaurant accompanied by two of their close friends. After dining and sharing laughter, Asia receives the final card & more beautiful flowers "High on a hill, where gardens bloom, and masterpieces fill each room, where art & light combine" The Getty. It is absolutely beautiful. They both are enjoying their time there as well as admiring all the artwork & Gods creation there. Some time later, the sun sets as they are looking at the view. He looks at her & gives his "I love you" speech. At this point Asia can't help but grin ear to ear. It's happening, It's really happening!! she thinks to herself. The feelings of utter joy, happiness, & praise to God were so present in that moment. He then asks, "Will you marry me?" as if her smile didn't say it enough, She said "Yes!" It was such an unforgettable special moment. It felt like it was just them, so in the moment & locked in, in love. Little did Asia know, their friends were recording and taking photos of the whole thing where they then greeted them after and celebrated with somi somi ice cream to close out the most amazing day!

Joseph + Asia love spending quality time with one another. They also love cooking together & going out! A few of their favorite places to eat include: - Olive Garden - In n out - Jersey Mikes - Panera & a nice sweet treat to end the night such as - Cold stone - Handles - Somi Somi In regards to enjoyment, they both absolutely love - Watching movies - Disneyland - Arcades - Trying new things
