We're getting married!

2014 Joseph and Ashlyn met through a mutual friend. After he was shown a picture of her, he instantly knew he wanted to meet her and drove to Tucson to do so the next available weekend. As Ashlyn was not interested in a new relationship, she was a bit hesitant to meet him. However, after meeting Joseph and experiencing his room-filling personality, she knew he was special. While the majority of their relationship has been long distance, the two have been inseparable (thank goodness for FaceTime) ever since. Their time together has been spent traveling, adventuring, and laughing until their stomachs hurt. The pair have spent six loving years together and can't wait to become husband and wife!

2019 Joseph proposed to Ashlyn in Scottsdale, Arizona. He took her to a romantic Italian dinner followed by a gondola ride at The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa. After months of secret planning, friends and family from Washington, Arizona, and California gathered to be part of the special moment. At the end of the gondola ride, family and friends were waiting on the launch dock where Joseph got down on one knee in the gondola. The excitement continued as Joseph's family had planned an engagement party at their home for everyone to celebrate.
