*Record scratch* Hi, my name’s Joe. You are probably wondering how I got here. Well let me tell you where this long journey all began. I was scrolling on Bumble, looking through the list of girls, until I stumbled upon the one who had the best, most genuine smile I have ever seen. After a few days of chatting, I decided to ask her for coffee. We met and spent the best 8 hours of my life together for our first date. It felt like I was talking and catching up with my best friend. Years later through all the good, the bad, the laughs, the crying, the bickering (hi, Angie here. We're both stubborn, but Joe is more stubborn. Okay, carry on), and the love, I decided to propose to my best friend that I met three years ago. Now I get to spend every morning waking up and every night falling asleep next to her for the rest of our days.

Hi everyone! Joe and I can’t wait to celebrate our love with you all! Our story began in April 2017. After a mutual swipe right on Bumble, and 23 hrs, I still hadn’t spoken to Joe. On Bumble, the ladies have 24 hrs to talk first, but I wrote him off because I thought he was too old (sorry babe). Right before time ran out, he extended it, just to see what would happen. I messaged him, and we haven’t stopped talking since. One GMU Starbucks coffee date offer turned into 8 hours together (a whole work day WHEW), and now the rest of our lives. I was never a big believer in love at first sight but Joe changed that, and many other things that I thought about life. He makes me believe in myself, us, and the ability to conquer more than I thought possible. I’m so grateful to have him, his family, and his (now our) friends in my life. This is just the beginning of the rest of our story.
