As the date gets closer, we want to share an update to provide clarity and reassurance, especially with everything you may have seen in the news lately. Playa Mujeres continues to be considered a low‑risk, safe destination with a strong emphasis on security, within its luxury, gated resort communities like Finest Playa Mujeres. Safety risks in tourist zones remain low. While there were recent security operations in parts of Mexico, the U.S. Embassy officially lifted the temporary shelter‑in‑place order for the entire state of Quintana Roo, including Cancun and Playa Mujeres on February 23. Tourism operations and travel conditions in this region are fully normal again with no disruptions to resorts or airports. The events that prompted earlier alerts were primarily in western Mexico, over 1,200 miles away from Playa Mujeres. * Playa Mujeres remains a peaceful, resort‑centric destination. * Travel to Cancun International Airport is operating normally. * The Finest Resort maintains strong safety practices and guest security. We truly hope you can still join us. It would mean everything to have you there as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. At the same time, we completely understand if anyone has reconsidered due to travel concerns or personal comfort levels. We would be devastated to miss celebrating with you, but your well‑being is most important, and we absolutely respect your decision, whatever it may be. If you have decided not to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can finalize plans with the resort. If you need additional info about travel, safety, airport logistics, or the resort, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help however we can. We love you all, and we cannot wait to celebrate together in paradise!
Our celebration is set by the sea, so we're honoring beach formal wear. Ladies, flowy and breathable maxi or midi dresses. Men, pants and closed toed shoes with a light shirt. Please refrain from wearing hats. Feel free to wear whatever you're comfortable in for welcome drinks in the lobby and our welcome party on the beach! The resort has a very strict dress code. Sleeveless t-shirts, tank tops, and beach sandals, or flip flops are not allowed at most restaurants. Some restaurants also require pants for men.
Aside from the wedding, all events are optional, including welcome drinks on Friday, April 17th, and a welcome party on Saturday, April 18.
To participate in all wedding-related festivities you must stay at the resort, per resort policy.
Plan to fly into the Cancun International Airport (CUN). Finest Playa Mujeres is approximately 30 minutes away. If you arrive before check in time, you can use all the resort amenities while you wait for your room to be ready.
We completely understand that plans can change! All rooms are fully refundable up to 24 hours before your check-in time.
Just about everything! All-inclusive means all restaurants + meals, snacks, beverages (regular and alcoholic) are unlimited throughout your stay.
Every guest must have a valid passport in order to fly into Mexico. Please make sure yours is up to date!
If you book a room, please RSVP "Yes". You can change your RSVP up until December 1st, 2025. The final date to make modifications to your room reservation is February 10, 2026.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation at the ceremony and reception. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.
We love your little ones -- we really do! However, due to many factors including space, we respectfully request no children. We hope you're able to take the opportunity to enjoy a vacation to yourselves! We appreciate you making prior arrangements.
