As many love stories begin these days, we were not much different. As luck would have it all it took was a swipe on their phones to begin our story. Taylor messaged Joe, "Hey" and he was hooked. It didn't take long for these two to meet but once they did it was instant chemistry as if they had been friends for much longer. As Taylor returned to college at Virginia Tech, and Joe to James Madison they continued to make the most of every moment they spent together, from football games, hiking, and adopting Tucker they knew the had found their person. Upon graduation, the couple moved and settled in their new home of Dallas, Texas. There the trio began their adulting lives and finding their 'normal' together. Dallas introduced the couple to a tornado, 4-day long power outage, giant flying bugs, and being locked in a 800 sq-ft apartment together for over 100 days, however through it all they stayed together. On February 29, 2020, yes Leap Day, Joe got down on one knee and popped the question.
