Jennie grew up with her dad, Rene, as the ultimate “Mr. Mom.” His warm, outgoing personality taught her that kindness goes a long way, that laughter is essential, and that food is truly a universal love language. Rene’s cooking (and generosity with portions!) means Jennie and Joe return home at least five pounds heavier after every visit—and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Margaret Garza

Mother of the Bride

Margaret, the creative matriarch of the family, worked in home decor and constantly filled the house with fabrics, projects, and inspiration. She always encouraged creativity, supplying Jennie and her sisters with endless craft ideas and artistic hobbies. Jennie credits her mom’s influence as a key part of her path into design—and is proud to honor her as the original creative force in the family.

Joe's mother set the stage for who he is today. Everything from his taste in music to talent in art. She's shown him the importance of family, the importance of being a kind and caring person and every once in a while, the importance of taking the time to sit back and waste away in Margaritaville.

Father of the Groom

Joe's dad John has always been a constant source of laughs, music and good times. Whether he's strumming the guitar, cooking up his apple pie or looking to play 18. He has shared these passions with each of his kids and has inspired the same creativity in Joe's life.

Tony Frias

Step-Father of the Groom

Tony has been a constant support through all stages of Joe's life. He's not only been an example of family dedication, but how to always make sure that family has no shortage of appetizers. Joe credits Tony for showing him how to be selfless and put those who matter first. (Tony proves it with every Disney trip he gets dragged on)

Katie Patrick

Maid of Honor

Jennie’s older sister, Katie, is one of her Matrons of Honor, alongside their sister, Lauren. From a young age, Katie has always been a natural caregiver—whether brushing Jennie’s hair with exactly 100 strokes, doing her nails, playing dress-up, or pretending to be mermaids in the pool. She’s been a constant source of comfort and encouragement, always reminding Jennie to stay true to who she is.

Lauren Garza

Maid of Honor

Lauren, Jennie’s twin, is her other Maid of Honor alongside their sister, Katie. From sharing a womb to sharing a sharp sense of humor, Jennie can always count on Lauren for a perfectly timed laugh. The two have been known to communicate without even speaking—twin telepathy at its finest. (Sorry in advance.)

Joe and his sister Grace have always connected when it comes to gaming, sneaker culture and appreciation for agriculture. The joy he gets from watching her grow up to now being a part of his big day is truly a great feeling.

Olivia Filleti

Bridesmaid

Joe and his sister Olivia have grown up side by side. Sharing loves for Disney, holidays, art, books, movies and games. He is amazed at watching her skills as an aunt and can always count on her when it's time to relax and a vibe needs to be set. Whether its a trip to the shire, a walk down main street or a white Christmas, Olivia will be there with tea, snacks and the perfect soundtrack.

John Filleti

Best Man

Joe's brother John has always lead by example whether he meant to or not. Joe was always looking to him to to see what clothes to wear, what cars were cool to drive, what music was cool to listen to or what number to put on your jersey. He continues to be an inspiration to him to this day as Joe watches John navigate being a dad.

Geoff Filleti

Best Man

Geoff has taught Joe no shortage of lessons through the years. Pillows and rope make good climbing gear, socks make terrible boxing gloves and sometimes, it's better to stop and think instead of wasting a good cannoli. Underneath it all, Joe's brother Geoff has been a teacher of humility, reason, humor and kindness.

Jennie & Joe's heart wrapped in a fuzzy red coat. Gimlet has taught Jennie & Joe how to be patient, forgiving and how teamwork makes the dreamwork. Their day would not feel complete without incorporating him in some kind of way. We also remember our Bogey bear with lot's of love and know he is always by Gimlet's side in spirit.
