We met in the Summer of 2020 at Silks, a corner bar and restaurant in Baltimore, where Joey worked. In Jayne's opinion, Joey made the best grapefruit and orange crushes in the whole city. About 2 years and a few grapefruit crushes later, Joey asked Jayne out to dinner after they ran into each other at Walts Inn. Jayne had a recent loss in her life, and Joey was there to pick up her spirits. The next few years we made many memories together from a trip to the Virgin Islands, camping, spending holidays with each others families, attending Eagles and Ravens games, sailboat and lake days, and the annual Dove beach vacation. On November 2, 2024, we were hiking at one of Jayne's favorite places in the New Jersey Pine Barrens on a beautiful fall day and Joey proposed. For those who've seen the video, you know Jayne was surprised based on her language and lack of nail polish. We live together in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore City where we met, and are looking forward to starting our new journey together as a married couple. We can't wait to see what the future holds!
