Not your classic love at first sight. I can't tell you much about the day we met, but I can tell you the courtship included dancing upstairs at Kate's, slaters at Grotto's, grilled cheeses at Home Grown, Wendy attempting to steal baby Brody, and of course the 404 S College Ave dirty carpet parties. A big shout out to our roommates, Sarah Amos and Jack Newton, as they were the reason we met and got together. As an unlikely pair to survive after senior year, we went on to stumble through our long distance year in 2014. At some point throughout all of this we fell in love and the rest was history !

After one year, we decided long distance is not for us. In summer 2014, after Joe found a post-college job in Baltimore, Wendy decided to give Charm City a try and move in together. In a short five years, we built a home, life, and family. Eventually increasing the size of our wolf pack to four with the addition of Ellie. We created careers, lives, goals, and life-long friends here; but most importantly, we found happiness within each other.

Oh just 6 years later, right when Wendy thought it would never happen, after a birthday brunch with her best friends, Joe got down on one knee and popped the question. A surprise and day we will never forget. Now on to planning a celebration of a lifetime!
