Travel Note
There is a free bus with several routes between East and West Vail. Use this site to check routes and schedules. Take advantage of this system as driving/parking in town can be challenging.
Flight
Denver has many flight/rental car options and is about 2 hours from Vail. Eagle County has American and United flights available in the summer, has several rental car options, and is about 45 minutes from Vail. Both airports have shuttles to/from Vail.
