We’re getting married!

In the midst of the pandemic and a hard school year, Jay was on a mission to boost up the morale of her school. It all started when she attempted to surprise her coworker with a self care basket, but got caught by her coworker's husband at the door. The couple invited her to stay over for dinner since she had made the trip all the way to their house. Minutes later the husband announces that another guest named “Matt” is coming over. Jay had heard this name before. It was the infamous neighbor that they’ve been trying to get her to meet. Jay being the introvert that she is quickly thought of an excuse to get out of it, but was not fast enough. And Thank God for her being slow and not getting out on time because “Matt” walked in and her whole life was changed in that moment. Matt came in and introduced himself as “Marcus”. Initially she thought “Jesus Christ, they’re trying to match me with all the single neighbors”, but turns out Matt was Marcus. Phew! His confidence and very assertive ways convinced Jay to stay a little longer and even come back the next day for his "infamous wings". These two knew that they were meant to be in each other’s lives. From the moment they met, they became inseparable and continued to hang out until a beautiful relationship grew out of it.

En medio de la pandemia y un año escolar difícil, Jay tenía la misión de levantar la moral de su escuela. Todo comenzó cuando intentó sorprender a su compañera de trabajo con una canasta de cuidado personal, pero el esposo de su compañera la atrapó en la puerta. La pareja la invitó a quedarse a cenar ya que ella había hecho el viaje hasta su casa. Minutos después, el esposo anuncia que vendrá otro invitado llamado "Matt". Jay había escuchado este nombre antes. Era el vecino infame que habían estado tratando de que ella conociera. Jay, que es tan introvertida , rápidamente pensó en una excusa para salir de eso, pero no fue lo suficientemente rápido. Y gracias a Dios por ser lenta y no salir a tiempo porque "Matt" entró y toda su vida cambió en ese momento. Matt entró y se presentó como "Marcus". Inicialmente pensó "Dios mío, están tratando de emparejarme con todos los vecinos solteros", pero resulta que Matt era Marcus. ¡Uf! Su confianza y formas muy asertivas convencieron a Jay de quedarse un poco más e incluso volver al día siguiente para probar sus "deliciosas alitas de pollo". Estos dos sabían que estaban destinados a estar en la vida del otro desde el momento en que se conocieron. Se volvieron inseparables y el continuó cortejándola hasta que surgió una hermosa relación.
