Our event venue, Casa Schuck, is a gorgeous boutique hotel bed & breakfast located in a premiere location in San Miguel within walking distance to all the action! It has a total of 10 beautiful rooms on property. Currently, all rooms have been reserved. We had the hotel blocked out from Wednesday, July 9th through Tuesday, July 15th. There is only a three night minimum stay for our event, but you are welcome to extend your stay. Most all of our guests are checking in on Wednesday and checking out on Sunday.
The personnel at Casa Schuck recommends Hacienda de las Flores. This hotel is only one block away. They also recommend El Palomar, Mansion Mexique Hotel Boutique, or Mansion San Miguel by Concordia.
There are two airports nearby. Bajio (Leon) International Airport is just over one hour’s drive from San Miguel. Queretaro Intercontinental Airport is closer at about a 40 minute drive. Volaris offers well priced, direct flights to Leon. Viva Airlines offers very well priced flights into Queretaro, however, they do not offer direct flights.
We can expect warm weather in the high 80’s and perhaps a few rain showers for July in San Miguel! You might consider bringing a light sweater for early mornings and evenings.
This is our most asked question;) For the Callejoneada, please wear whites/creams/kaki. For Friday’s mass and reception, we ask the opposite:) Wear what you love in your favorite formal wear colors!
