How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We will have private shuttles taking guests to the ceremony and reception from Novotel. Shuttles will leave ONLY from this hotel on the wedding day, if you are staying in another hotel or Airbnb we recommend to Uber to Novotel to take the shuttle from there. Shuttles will return to Novotel from the venue at the end of the night.

For how long should I stay in Medellin?

For those interested in exploring the city in addition to the wedding festivities, we recommend 4 - 5 night stay to enjoy the city to the fullest! Remember, Monday February 16 is a Holiday in the US! :)

Where can I exchange cash?

Answer

There are plenty of currency exchange services throughout the city, especially in shopping malls. El Tesoro shopping mall (connected to Novotel Hotel) has a currency exchange service. While majority of stores and restaurants accept credit cards, we recommend to always carry some cash for smaller businesses, tour tips, and more. If you need to exchange cash for the transportation to the hotel, there is a cash exchange at the airport upon arrival.

How do I get from the Airport to the hotel?

We encourage guests to book private transportation from Airport to Hotel and Hotel to Airport. This service must be booked in advanced. Use code BodaJosefina&JuanCarlos for booking & make sure to have cash on hand to pay the car service ($COP) . The ride from the airport to El Tesoro or El Poblado has a cost of $100,000 to $120,000 ($25-$30 USD). This is for the trip itself not per person and is about a 45 minute car ride.
