Cadiz Cathedral
Cádiz Cathedral is open from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM—except for Sundays, when it is open from 1:30 PM until 8:00 PM. The Clock Tower is open Monday - Sunday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM and the Cathedral Museum is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
Torre Tavira
Open between 10:00 am – 8:00pm everyday, previous reservations may be required.
Cadiz Museum
Don't miss the Phoenician Anthropoid Sarcophagi, the highlight of the museum's archaeology section.
La Caleta
Urban beach that doesn't disappoint. If you are looking for a more expansive beach we recommend Playa la Victoria in Puerta de Tierra, you can get there on the bus easily.
Restaurante El Faro de Cádiz
Cádiz historic staple, we recommend eating at the tapas bar, which is more affordable and making a reservation.
Taberna Casa Manteca
Great tapas, would try the Mohama de Atún and pair it with Vermút. Gets pretty busy and does't take reservations.
Bar La Tabernita
Great for cheap tapas. Would recommend the solomillo al pimentón and the croquetas de puchero. Doesn't take reservations. Say hi to the owner Rafa while there.
Bar Nono
Great for a quick lunch if you're keen on seafood. Would recommend the Sepia a la plancha and the brocheta de langostinos, but everything is good.
Restaurante Balandro
Good for a nicer dinner that won't break the bank. Everything is good we love the tallarines and the ensaladilla de pulpo templado. Would recommend making a reservation.
Restaurante Contraseña
For a fancier dinner, don't miss out on the steak tartar. The tortillitas de camarones are also out of this world. Would recommend reserving.
Casa Rafael vinos y tapas
Good for a cheeky salmorejo or breakfast of molletes with jamón ibérico y tomate.
Recreo Chico
The best salmorejo in Cádiz.
Restaurante Cádiz La Marmita
For a nice dinner, a little on the pricier side but well worth it. They speacialize in Atún de Almadraba, so anything with that is great.
La Candela
Spanish fusion for when you need a break from Spanish food.
La Bodeguita de Plocia
Good all around tapas place, we recommend the albondigas de choco.
Taberna El tío de La Tiza
Outdoor seating and great seafood.
Cafe Bar Casa Pepe
Cheap and cheerful. Got to try the pescado rebosado.
