LAX is further away from Westlake Village, is more crowded, and it is more difficult to get in and out of quickly than Hollywood Burbank Airport (formerly known as Bob Hope Airport) but the ratio of available flights from the East Coast is 6Xs more than Burbank and flights are cheaper.
