On December 5, 2013, we met at a Christmas party hosted by Taylor's Spanish society. When José entered the room and grabbed food with all his buddies, he noticed Taylor going around the room introducing herself to everyone. As she approached José, it was love at first sight.

Taylor graduated from The Catholic University of America in 2016 with a major in Spanish for International Service, a minor in Islamic World Studies, and a certificate in European Studies. She is currently finishing her second year at William & Mary Law School. José graduated from The Catholic University of America in 2014 with a major in Electrical Engineering. He is currently working as a Project Manager with S2N Technology Group, a subsidiary of the Clark Construction Group.
