FAQs

The Wedding Website of Summer Haworth and Jose Mendoza
Question

Where will the celebrations take place?

Answer

Our ceremony and dinner party will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox church in Santa Cruz, CA.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please join us in formal cocktail attire. We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Ladies, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, or creams. Please see our guest attire page for some inspo!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are beyond excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted when you RSPV.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony at least 15-30 minutes prior to ensure you are comfortably seated before the ceremony begins.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In late September, we can expect mild, comfortable temperatures, ranging from the low 60s to the low 70s. The days are typically sunny with an ocean breeze. The evenings can get cooler if the coastal winds and fog happen to pick up, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater just in case.
