forever is here

Our story begins before we were brought into the world. Our mom's met at Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington as they were earning their Associates Degrees while their husbands were out to sea. Both of them trying to keep busy in a new state without much family, they quickly bonded and established their own "family" with each other. From aerobics class, to Friday night kick backs, the two of them found comfort and joy dancing through their early 20's together. They spent so much time with one another that Stacy (Shelbie's mom) knew that Monique (Joe's mom) was pregnant before Monique even knew. 3 months later, Stacy was pregnant with Shelbie. We are convinced that we were bonded in the womb. By the time we made our way through early adolescence, college, careers, and the heartbreak in between, we found comfort and joy in the adventure of dancing through life with each other. It just took a couple decades, and a 9 hour adventure to the mountains to finally feel those butterflies.
