“Celebrate Our Forever With Us”

It was exactly one year, a month, and a day after we started dating. It was such a beautiful day date! It started with us going to brunch together, then we went to get ice cream at the shop where we first officially met. José Andrés arranged the plans for us to go to the museum, he was using this to disguise the proposal as a “regular date”, it was Kim’s first time at the butterfly exhibit. After the museum, we walked to the Japanese garden and a friend of ours was taking pictures of some of the friends, we joined the pictures and suddenly they start playing the guitar, José Andrés sang and that’s when he asked the big question! After the proposal, we had a photo shoot session (which are the pictures we have posted here), we went home afterwards and our family and friends had set up everything so nicely and thoughtfully! It was a beautiful day and we love to think about it often! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Houston/Angleton! Era exactamente un año, un mes, y un día después de que empezamos nuestro noviazgo. ¡Fue una cita muy especial! Nuestro día comenzó en ir a disfrutar de un almuerzo juntos, después nos fuimos por un helado al mismo lugar donde nos conocimos por primera vez. José Andrés hizo los arreglos para pasar la tarde en el museo, estaba usando eso para hacerlo ver como una “simple cita” y disimular la propuesta. También era la primera vez que Kim iba a la exhibición de las mariposas, y para ella era algo especial. Después del museo, nos fuimos caminando al jardín japonés, y ahí estaba una amiga tomándole fotos a nuestras amistades. Nos unimos a las fotos con ellos y de repente ¡empezaron a tocar sus guitarras! José Andrés comenzó a cantar, se arrodilló, ¡y así fue como comenzó esta nueva etapa! Después de la propuesta, nuestra amiga nos hizo una sesión de fotos (las cuales están siendo usadas en esta página), y posteriormente nos fuimos a casa donde ya nos esperaban ahí nuestras familias y demás amistades. Ellos habían preparado una cena muy linda y se encargaron de que no faltaran los detalles y la decoración. ¡Fue un día hermoso y nos encanta recordarlo! ¡Estamos muy emocionados de celebrar este momento tan especial con ustedes!
