We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We decided to move out of our home town of Santa Barbara in order to start a new chapter of our lives together. We wanted an opportunity to start new careers and eventually create a life for ourselves elsewhere and ended up moving to North Dakota in August of 2020! We had an amazing time road tripping up through the states with Jose's friend Alejandro before planting ourselves in ND.

To be honest I feel like I waited forever for him to propose, when in reality I didn't, but to me I wanted it so badly a day felt like forever! He finally did it in Oak Park, here in Minot, ND and I can say in all honesty I did not expect it AT ALL. I mean I did when he was doing it because who the heck plants a bottle of champagne on a random picnic bench in a park, but I was still caught by surprise! -Rebekah It was the hardest thing to plan because she asked every day pretty much until I did it. It was a lot of work to change the conversation every time she brought it up. I talked about it with Isaac her brother way before I asked so he knew, but I was nervous. - Jose

We have a pretty funny relationship dynamic that has stuck from the very beginning until now. We love to spend time with each other and are not great at spending time with others but it works out for us! Jose is pretty introverted and quiet most of the times, while Rebekah is definitely loud and can be annoying. But we work!
