It was the Summer of 2019, who knew that a woman from the small town of Harlingen, South Texas would meet a man from Sanger California. It all started when Cousin Alex and Christina (Priscillas childhood best friend) would talk about a nice, big hearted, sweetest person one could ever meet. Then she was invited to visit California that summer. Jose jumped at the opportunity to meet her. He made it his priority to get time off from work during her visit months in advance. At the same time Priscilla had no idea who was waiting to meet her in California, she thought it was just a vacation with her friend. Jose, Alex and Christina picked her up at the airport and that is where they were introduced. Jose immediately looked into her eyes and knew he saw someone special; he quickly helped her with her luggage like a young fool in love. At this time Priscilla still had no clue what was happening and still wondered who this guy was who was always hanging around during her vacation. This would be Priscilla's greatest vacation. Jose finally got her number right before she flew home over 2,000 miles away, but no distance was going to keep Jose from pursuing Priscilla. He messaged her as soon as she landed in her small town. Jose wondered if this seemed too eager, but he quickly brushed it off when she returned his text. They both began texting each other every day. It was at this moment that Priscilla realized this was a whole lot more than just a friendship, she didn't know she would meet the love of her life on that trip. A few months later Priscilla came back to California for another vacation, but this time to beautiful old town Sacramento to meet up with Jose and friends. That is where Jose finally asked Priscilla on their first date. It was a beautiful sunny day in old town where they had lunch next to the magnificent Sacramento River and had a long walk up and down the river. This day was perfect for the both of them. Soon reality would hit, and she had to fly back home, this was sad for the both of them and did not know when they would see each other again. They would talk and message each other every day. They quickly fell in love and made it a point to visit each other every few months for 3 years and would not let distance stand between them. Priscilla made the big move to California and that is when they got engaged in their living room next to a beautifully lit Christmas tree. True love doesn't count the miles; it measures the heart. This Spring with the blessing of God and their families they will be united in marriage. This is just the beginning of their story.
