If you're around for the weekend and want something to do, check this festival out! It's held in Kennett Square, the mushroom capital of the world, about an hour south of Pottstown. Fun fact: José's dad works in mushroom agriculture!
"The property is a living laboratory for the study of ecological issues, sustainability, and land stewardship, offering inspiration and education for visitors & community members." Neither of us have been here but it looks like something neat to check out! An estate with wetlands, gardens, meadows, etc.
Pottstown is pretty small aside from the main drag that the venue is on. Nearby Phoenixville is walkable and has a bit more to offer if you're into exploring!
Most of you all know that Eastern PA is Amish country. Find a market or roadside stand to enjoy some of the final summer fruit harvests before it becomes root veg season again!
