They first met at church in the month of fall. Janet approached Jose to say "Happy Birthday." Jose timidly said, "thank you." Months later, Jose invited Janet to a company Christmas party. Janet excitedly accepted. After some really bad food and Christmas Carols, Janet and Jose decided to make an escape to a real first date. It was all uphill after that!

Janet and Jose dated for 3 years and did a lot of fun things together. They enjoyed movies, beach touring, hikes, and just getting lost in nature together. As their friendship grew so did their affection for one another.

Jose invited Janet for dinner during a warm summer day. Janet had no idea what the day would entail; however, was excited to spend time with Jose. They went on a boat ride, enjoyed a wonderful evening together, and at sunset Jose got on one knee and pulled out a ring. Jose pulled out the courage to ask Janet to marry him. Janet began to cry tears of happiness and said, "yes."
