While we love your little ones, we are encouraging an adult celebration due to the garden setting. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home or with a sitter so you can celebrate with us. Please visit Care.com if you need assistance with babysitting resources in San Diego.
We strongly encourage everyone to use rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft. Because our wedding is in Balboa Park during the July 4th holiday, we expect there to be very little parking available in the park. If you must drive yourself to the park, please plan some extra time to find parking as parking near the lower garden may be full. You may have a better chance of finding parking at the lot behind the old Hall of Champions, or even across the street by the Veterans Museum at 2115 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101.
Due to limited parking, we suggest you use rideshare. The location for rideshare is Inamori Pavilion & The Lower Garden Venue.
San Diego weather is usually temperate. It is typically warm in the sun and cool in the shade. The forecast for July 4th is a high of 78 F and a low of 66 F. The wedding will be in a canyon, so we will lose the sun earlier. We recommend those wearing a dress to bring a light wrap for warmth once the sun goes down.
The ceremony will be outdoors. If COVID restrictions allow, the reception will be indoors. If COVID restriction do not allow the reception to be indoors, it will be outdoors.
Both are taking place at Inamori Pavilion & The Lower Garden Venue in San Diego.
Guests will be admitted at 5:00pm at Inamori Pavilion & The Lower Garden Venue in San Diego.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
