However, before getting to the detail of the event, we believe it's essential to first explain the journey that brought us to this point. If Jose could give you the short version, Alixa fell in love with his amazingly good looks. However, Alixa would disagree with that narrative. So, I will provide you with her approved version of the story. It all started in 2016, both in college, Alixa an LMC Red Hawk, and Jose an MSU Spartan. Life works itself in strange ways, of all places, both of them first knew of each other's existence in a frat party. Through the years and because of mutual friends, they continued their casual friendship. One day, a common friend (Alixa call's Cupid) set herself the mission to get these two individuals talking. As I quote, she said, “You guys would make a cute couple.” A simple “Hola Alixa, Mi nombre es José Luis Méndez..” worked its charm. More than 3 years later, which included many laughs and life-changing events, these two souls decided to marry.
