FAQs

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at joscelynjust@gmail.com or 503.318.1633.
Question

Should I bring food or drinks?

Answer

There is no need, and please DO NOT bring your own alcohol (due to park permit restrictions); beer, wine/sangria, and cider will be provided, along with non-alcoholic options. Buffet style food will be provided with options for everyone. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know, or feel free to bring what you need.

Question

The RSVP doesn't recognize my name, what do I do?

Answer

Sorry, it seems very picky. Please enter your first and last name, as it's written on the invitation (don't include the "and" person if there is one), or try the first and last name of the other person. If you're still having trouble, just email, text, or contact me on Facebook with your RSVP info.

Question

Where is the celebration located?

Answer

It will be held in SE Portland at Laurelhurst Park, located on SE Cesar Chavez Blvd and SE Ankeny St. The event will be at Picnic Site E.

Question

What time is the event?

Answer

We'll be starting at 5:00 PM, and should start wrapping up around 8:30 PM. If you're not able to make it at 5:00 PM, feel free to stop by anytime!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Street parking is available all around Laurelhurst Park and in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking is suggested along SE Ankeny, as the event will be on that side of the park. If you plan to be drinking, we highly recommend taking public transportation, UBER or a cab. The park is one block south of E Burnside St., and there is a bus stop at E Burnside St. and SE Laurelhurst Pl (Bus # 20).

Question

How formal is the event?

Answer

This is a semi-casual event in a park, and will be on grass. There is no dress code, but we want our guests to be comfortable. Children are welcome, but no pets please!

Question

What happens if it's raining?

Answer

We're Oregonians, and the show will go on! We'll do our best to provide enough shelter, but it be a good idea to bring a rain jacket or umbrella.
