Love, joy, peace, PATIENCE… yeah, maybe that last one deserves all caps. Bennett and Jorja went to the same high school, graduated together, and even went to a high school dance together. High school sweethearts? Awww… not exactly. Friend groups meshed, bonfires happened, and Jorja just assumed it was coincidence that she kept getting invited. Bennett, however, had a different plan. With a little help from the Big Man, they “coincidentally” ended up at the same out-of-state university. Once again, what Jorja thought was coincidence was actually Bennett plotting to run into her at her favorite pastime: line dancing. In front of all their friends, he pulled her aside and asked, “Would you go on a date with me?” Jorja replied… maybe. Bennett, unphased, asked, “Well, if I texted you, would you respond?” She said yes. Then he spun to their friends, threw his hands in the air, and yelled, “LOCKED IN.” Jorja wasn’t quite on the same “LOCKED IN” level yet. The next day, Bennett texted: I’ll be there at six. Wear something you’d wear to church. At 5:55, a handsome guy she felt like she’d never seen before knocked on the door with a dozen roses. With another nudge from the Big Man, Jorja instantly knew it was him and wondered where he had been her whole life, the rest... HISTORY. The Lord’s timing is magical and we cannot wait to get married.
