We met at work — which means we technically started off as coworkers, but he clearly had other plans. We worked side by side and always noticed each other — those long glances and quick lookaways kind of moments. But for the longest time, we never said a word. That all changed one day when I needed help with a patient. I asked him for assistance, and from that moment, the ice was broken — and he definitely didn’t waste the opportunity. The flirting started immediately (he came in strong!), but I wasn’t sold just yet. I brushed it off, gave him side-eye, maybe even laughed it off a few times. I didn’t take him seriously… at all. But let’s just say, he was consistent. Persistent might even be the better word. Eventually, I gave in (he earned it!) and gave him my number. From that point on, things took off — fast. What started as casual conversations turned into late-night talks, inside jokes, shared dreams, and a bond neither of us expected but both of us needed. Now here we are — turning what started as flirty joking at work into a lifetime commitment. We’ve built a relationship full of laughter, love, lessons, and loyalty… and we’re just getting started.
