Kathleen has not only been an incredible mother to Michael but also a fierce role model when it comes to work and leadership. She helped Michael find his passion for movies after dozens of weekly trips to Blockbuster Video back in Birmingham, Alabama. She has supported him in every step of the way during his journey in the film industry while they still make time to drink eggnog milkshakes over the holidays.

The original Michael in her life, Jori's father is to blame for her horrid sense of humor, obsession with thunderstorms, and addiction to the movie ALIEN. Even though his little girl is growing up, Jori is so lucky to have such a fun, curious and intelligent father always looking out for her, even across the country.

Douglas is the incredible father and friend to Michael all his life. Whether ranking their favorite movies and rock songs on long road trips, or debating tech topics over long cups of coffee, Doug has been a wonderful paradigm of intellect and friendship to Michael that he one day hopes to pass on to his children too.

She's a taller, cuter, blonder version of Jori with a knack for puns and spectacular hair. Jori has always looked up to her, literally and figuratively, and can't wait to hear what embarrassing tales she has in store.

After meeting at Florida State University's film school, Chris and Michael became roommates and best friends for several years. They continued their friendship through their sketch comedy group, "Ruin The Internet" as and their writer's group, "Feature Farm". To this day they still hang out with the same fun and energy as they did over 10 years ago.

Cassie and Jori bonded almost four years ago over watching bad movies at Michael's old apartment. From Nicolas Cage to Twilight, their friendship has grown stronger through every Trader Joe's Boxed Wine.
Shane Spiegel

Shane and Michael have been working together in film for the last decade. In between working together on shows at DreamworksTV and producing short films at Michael and Jori's production company, they joke about their new favorite movies and Dave Matthews Band. Shane's sense of humor and work ethic make him a spectacular friend and work colleague for hopefully years to come.

Joy and Jori bonded over their shared love of animals, writing, kicking butt, and the letter J. From cracking a punch to cracking puns, Joy has been there with a pint of ice cream through every creative crisis.

Christopher has been a ray of light in Michael's life since college. When either working together on a multitude of productions, playing another round of Werewolves, or just debating the intricate rules of "Hat Night", Christopher has always made Michael smile and laugh like no one else.

Jori has Megan to thank for a lot in her life, but noticeably how she put her on the path to meet Michael through a series of production referrals. They met in the bowels of a Hollywood internship and have been hiking, traveling, and chugging beer ever since.

After meeting when working in reality television, Michael and Drew's friendship grew infinitely when working together as freelance editors at Power House Creative Space. Between long drives to Comic-Con and even longer trips to Brickyard Pub for beer, Michael and Drew can talk about any nerdy thing under the sun and then some.

Jori couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law to be. All she ever wanted was a nerdier, sci-fi loving role model, and she is incredibly blessed to have been welcomed every year into her lovely Alabamian household to share a sour beer under a Christmas tree.

Andrew and Michael bonded right away in college over their stories of living in the south and playing video games. They continued their friendship in Los Angeles as business partners when renting out their own film equipment. When they aren't working together on set or swapping notes on each other's scripts, they kick back and drink beers while pondering life's greatest mysteries and retelling their old favorite stories.
