Airport: Key West International Airport (EYW) is the closest, about 5 minutes from Casa Marina. Miami (MIA) is a larger airport about 3.5 hours away by car if you plan to road trip down the Keys. Driving: If you’re driving, the Overseas Highway (U.S. 1) is a scenic route connecting the mainland to the island.
Walking & Biking: Old Town is compact and perfect for strolling or renting a bike. Trolleys: The Conch Tour Train and Duval Loop offer easy transportation with stops near popular spots. Rideshare & Taxis: Uber and Lyft operate in Key West, plus taxis are widely available. Car Rental: Available options at the airport.
We recommend staying at or near Casa Marina. The "sister" hotel is next door at The Reach. We’ve reserved a block for different hotel options at Casa Marina, Margaritaville and The Oceans Edge—see the "Travel" page for details and booking links/codes.
Expect warm, tropical weather — usually mid-70s to mid-80s °F (24–30°C) in November. Pack light, breathable clothes, swimwear, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Evenings can be cooler, so a light sweater or jacket is handy.
Our wedding is beach formal — think elegant but comfortable enough for sand and sea breeze.
The ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn overlooking the beach, and the reception will be on the beach (weather dependent).
Relaxed, joyful, and island-inspired. We want everyone to feel at ease and ready to celebrate—come with your toes in the sand and drink in hand.
Check the "Schedule" page for welcome drinks, brunch, and other optional events.
