What is the timeline for wedding day?

We’ll share a full itinerary as we get closer, but for now, plan for a late afternoon ceremony followed by dinner and dancing into the night.

Garden Soirée – elegant and colorful garden party formal. Think florals, colors and a glass of champagne in hand. • For Women: Elegant midi-or full-length dresses in garden-inspired colors, paired with lawn friendly shoes • For Men: Lightweight suits or dress trousers with a jacket or dress shirt with tie

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

Château Sentout is located just outside of Bordeaux, about 25 minutes from the city center. We recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or arranging private transportation. There is also parking available on site.

How do we get back to Bordeaux after the wedding?

Answer

Complimentary shuttles will be provided to take guests from Château Sentout back to the Bordeaux city center after the reception.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know when you RSVP! Our caterers are happy to accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs.

Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport (BOD) is about 30 minutes from the venue.

Can I fly into Paris?

Answer

Yes! Paris is a great option. From Paris you can either: • Take a direct 2-hour train to Bordeaux; or • Book a 1-hour flight to Bordeaux (several daily) We recommend spending a few days in Paris if you have the time–its a beautiful way to start (or end) your trip!

What's the weather like in May?

Bordeaux in May is usually mild and sunny– think 65-75 degrees. Layers are your friend!

Is there a hotel block available?

Answer

We do not have a formal hotel block reserved. However, we’ve listed a few recommended hotels in Bordeaux under the "Travel" tab to help with your planning. In addition to those, there are also a number of charming boutique hotels and Airbnb options available throughout the city and countryside.
