We're getting Married!

Our story began in an unexpected place, Mazzone Ace Hardware. Sarah had tagged along with her dad one day when she noticed a “Help Wanted” sign. Since she was in college and looking for her first job, she decided to apply. Little did she know that simple decision would change her life. Patrick had already been working there for quite some time. From the beginning, he guided and supported Sarah as she learned the ropes. When they first met, something just clicked, it felt like they had known each other forever. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something much more, and before long, their story truly began. Over the years, they shared countless memories together: their first vacation (which included Patrick’s car breaking down in Delaware), late nights playing video games, and even getting their first matching tattoo. Through all the laughter, adventures, and milestones, they realized they had found something truly special in each other. During this time, Patrick became one of Sarah’s biggest supporters, right alongside her parents, throughout her college journey. He was her constant cheerleader, encouraging her every step of the way. One of the moments that meant the most was when he drove her all the way to Connecticut so she could walk across the stage and receive her Master’s degree. That moment meant the world to both of them. Throughout their relationship, they have always supported one another in a number of ways. No matter what life has brought their way, they have stood beside each other with love, strength, and unwavering support. Seven years later, Patrick planned a weekend full of their favorite things. They took a road trip upstate to see the beautiful fall foliage and spent time practicing archery at Gotham. It was a thoughtfully planned weekend just for the two of them. Then Sunday arrived. Patrick told Sarah to get dressed for dinner, giving her no clues about where they were going or what to expect. The surprise? A special family dinner at her parents’ house. Surrounded by the people she loves most, Patrick got down on one knee and asked the question that would begin their next chapter together. There were tears, laughter, and so much love in that moment. November has always been a special month for them, it marks the true beginning of their journey together, a journey that started in the aisles of a hardware store and continues today as they look forward to a lifetime of adventures side by side.
