Jorgen & Michelle

On Father's Day 2025, we headed out to explore Sequoia Natl Park.  One week earlier, Jorgen had spoken with all 6 kids and planned to make this trip extra special.  (He had also chatted with Michelle's parents.)  After touring Crystal Cave, we set out to see the big trees.  Once we got to General Sherman, Katelyn suggested she take a picture of Michelle and Jorgen.  There was some shuffling around to find the 'perfect spot'.  When Michelle turned around, she saw all 6 kids with cameras ready.  For a second she was confused, but as Jorgen began telling her how he felt about her, it became clear what was happening.

Soon, Jorgen was on one knee and Michelle was saying "yes"!  All the kids were laughing and screaming and calling each other "sister".  It was an amazing day.
