Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will be held in Malaga Este, Spain, overlooking the beautiful ocean and mountains. We’ll provide more details, including the address and directions, closer to the date.

What is the date and time of the wedding?
Answer
The wedding will be on Sunday, July 20th, 2025, with the ceremony starting at 7:30pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow time for seating.

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is black-tie attire. This means: For Men: A classic black tuxedo with a white dress shirt, black bow tie, and black patent leather shoes. Complement your look with a black cummerbund or vest, and consider wearing cufflinks and a white pocket square. For Women: An elegant evening gown or a formal long dress. While black is a timeless choice, dark colors or jewel tones are also suitable. Complete your look with statement jewelry, a clutch, and high heels. Since it’s an outdoor venue, consider bringing a light layer for the evening breeze. Please note that white is reserved for the bride, so kindly choose attire in other colors. We look forward to celebrating with you in your finest attire!

Will transportation be provided?

Since our wedding will be held at a mountain venue with limited parking and winding roads, we strongly encourage all guests to use the shuttles provided for everyone's safety and comfort. Shuttle Details: Pickup Location: Bus stop by the Ayuntamiento de Málaga (Calle Guillen Sotelo, parada discrecional de bus) Departure Time: 6:00 PM sharp Please arrive a few minutes early so we can stay on schedule!

Where should I stay?
Answer
You can stay in your place of choice as Malaga offers plenty of beautiful accommodations, from beachfront hotels to charming city stays. Keep in mind that the venue is only 15 minutes from Malaga city center. We recommend checking out options in or near the city center for convenience.

Do I need a passport or visa to attend?
Answer
U.S. Citizens If you're a U.S. citizen traveling from Miami to Malaga, Spain, you will need a valid passport. However, no visa is required for stays of up to 90 days in Spain or other Schengen Area countries. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure date from the Schengen Area. U.S. Green Card/Permanent Resident Card If you are a U.S. permanent resident, you are required to obtain a visa prior to your trip. Application for visa must be submitted in person with no more than 180 days in advance to your trip and at least 15 days before. See additional details under the Travel tab.

What will the weather be like?

Malaga typically has a warm weather during July. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the date and packing accordingly, but usually you can expect Temperature: Average daytime temperatures range from 24°C to 31°C (75°F to 88°F). Nights are warm, with temperatures usually between 17°C to 21°C (63°F to 70°F). Sunshine: July is one of the sunniest months in Malaga, with clear skies and around 11 to 12 hours of sunshine per day. Rainfall: Rain is infrequent in July, with typically very low chances of precipitation. Humidity: It can be quite humid, but the coastal breeze often provides some relief. Sea Temperature: The Mediterranean Sea is warm and pleasant for swimming, with temperatures around 22°C to 24°C (72°F to 75°F).
