We met during our senior year of high school in AP Spanish class—proof that sometimes the most important lessons aren’t taught from a textbook. At the time, one of us thought a friend had a secret admirer… only to later find out that admirer was actually her cousin. Plot twist. Not long after, we realized that the feelings weren’t misplaced after all. What makes it even funnier is that we had been in the same schools since junior high and somehow never spoken to each other until that class. Years of shared hallways, and it took AP Spanish to finally bring us together. From there came countless meaningful moments—prom, Grad Nite, cheering each other on at high school and university graduations, and growing up side by side. Through every season of life, our relationship continued to grow stronger. Almost eight years later, our love is still intact, full of laughter, memories, and gratitude for where it all began. We’re so excited to begin our forever together and can’t wait to celebrate with the people who have been part of our journey. Nos conocimos durante nuestro último año de preparatoria en la clase de AP Español—una prueba de que, a veces, las lecciones más importantes no se aprenden en un libro. En ese momento, una de nosotras pensó que una amiga tenía un admirador secreto… solo para descubrir después que ese admirador era en realidad su primo. Un giro inesperado. No pasó mucho tiempo antes de que nos diéramos cuenta de que los sentimientos no estaban equivocados después de todo. Lo que lo hace aún más gracioso es que habíamos estado en las mismas escuelas desde la secundaria y, de alguna manera, nunca habíamos hablado hasta esa clase. Años compartiendo los mismos pasillos, y tuvo que ser AP Español lo que finalmente nos uniera. A partir de ahí llegaron muchísimos momentos significativos: el baile de graduación, Grad Nite, animándonos mutuamente en las graduaciones de preparatoria y universidad, y creciendo juntos paso a paso. En cada etapa de la vida, nuestra relación se hizo más fuerte. Casi ocho años después, nuestro amor sigue intacto, lleno de risas, recuerdos y gratitud por dónde comenzó todo. Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar nuestro para siempre juntos y de celebrarlo con las personas que han sido parte de nuestro camino.
