Destination Ceremony FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st. You can RSVP by text, call, or email (or in person).

Question

How do I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Beetle Rock overlook near the Giant Forest Museum in Sequoia National Park. There is a large parking lot available for use. However, it tends to get crowded in the summer, so we recommend coming at least 30 minutes to an hour early to secure a parking spot. Beetle rock is on the left side of the first parking entrance coming up the mountain. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE. I repeat- NO CELL SERVICE. You will not be able to call us and you may not be able to use your GPS, so please make sure you know where to go before you arrive. Here --> https://goo.gl/maps/w49y7xWgpSP2 is the google maps link to the ceremony site. We highly recommend downloading the map of the area in advance.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love dressing up! This is going to be a formal and beautiful occasion. Suits, ties, long dresses, and other semi-formal attire is requested. We do recommend guests wear or bring flat shoes for the short walk to the ceremony site. It is on a dirt path about 100 yards long.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the ceremony is in a large parking lot next to the Giant Forest Museum in Sequoia NP. Please note that there is a $30/car entrance fee for the National Park which is good for 7 days. The reception parking is very limited. Please carpool to save space.

For all the days along the way
