We’re getting married!

He planned the trip to Tulum as an Anniversary gift, and little did I know that he had also planned a photoshoot for us with Flytographer! The day of the proposal was so magical on its own! We started our morning having breakfast at our amazing hotel and then making our way to visit some of the most beautiful cenotes I’ve ever seen! After that we headed back to the hotel for lunch and to freshen up, this is where he tells me, he’s booked us a photoshoot at the beach! Once we’ve changed, we head over to the beach and have some drinks while we wait for our photographer. She arrives and we begin the photoshoot! To our surprise the beach is completely empty, so it literally felt like it was just us! Our photographer starts setting us up with different poses, and then.. IT HAPPENS! I’m asked to turn around to face Jorge and I see him down on one knee!!! He looks at me and says “Erika, I love you with all my heart, will you marry me” I completely broke down and started to cry! He had beaten all expectations and just pulled out a scene from a romantic movie! We continued with our photoshoot and just talked and cried happy tears the whole time. The night wasn’t even over, because once we get back to the hotel he continues to surprise me with a romantic dinner out in the middle of the ocean on a doc! Everything was lit up with lights and the dinner was amazing! It was literally better than anything I had ever dreamed! I feel so lucky and grateful to have been able to have such an experience with the most important person in my life and best friend.
