It all started on a warm summer day in San Francisco. Stern Grove was alive with the sounds of Los Ángeles Azules, and the energy in the air was electric. Jorge’s Nina Olga and our friends Ani and Sarah had set us up on a blind date, and to be honest, we didn’t know what to expect. But as soon as we crossed paths, something just clicked. The music pulled us to the dance floor, and let’s just say we really hit it off (iykyk). We danced and laughed, feeling the undeniable connection. That summer moment turned out to be more than just a good time—it was the start of everything. From that moment on, we began to build our love brick by brick. It wasn’t long before we decided to take a leap of faith, leaving the familiarity of the Bay Area for a new chapter in Chicago. Far from home, we leaned into each other, creating a life filled with shared dreams and surrounded by new friends who quickly became family. Through every challenge and triumph, we chose each other again and again. Our unwavering commitment became a testament to the love poured into us by our community in the Bay and the support we found in our new home. Now, as we prepare to begin the next chapter of our journey, we do so with gratitude for the love that has carried us this far and faith in the future we’ll build together. We are excited to celebrate with the people who have walked beside us, knowing that our story is just beginning. God is in it all.
