A second line is a joyful New Orleans tradition. It’s a spirited celebration where guests join the bride and groom, dancing and marching to lively music, led by a brass band. The 'first line' is the formal procession of the wedding party, and the 'second line' is everyone else who joins the fun, dancing, clapping, and celebrating as we move from the ceremony to the reception.
