Jordynn met Joshua's sister, Lina, in makeup school. Jordynn and Lina became fast friends and made plans to move in together once school was over, which was delayed for a while because Jordynn moved back home to Minnesota for a year. Lina finally convinced Jordynn to make the move to California. She packed her things and moved in with Lina, Joshua, and their friend Rachel.
