Our story started long before we ever imagined it would become our story. We first met in preschool at Mrs. Nikki’s Preschool. We both started elementary school together at Castaic Elementary, then Wyatt switched to North Lake Elementary. We met back up again at Castaic Middle School, where every single day Wyatt would say “Hello!” to Jordyn. After that, we both went to West Ranch High School. Several years later, we both happened to be at the same local bar, Drifters, on the same night. Jordyn had just walked in and heard a voice say, “Jordyn Sweeney.” He had no idea who he was or how he knew my full name. Wyatt then listed off every person in his family, and I still had no idea until he said, "My mom is Bunny Kaplan," and immediately it clicked, and Jordyn knew exactly who he was. A couple of days later, Wyatt asked Jordyn on a date that just happened to be Valentine’s Day. Naturally, we were both nervous. But we never would have guessed our nervous responses were talking way too much, for the whole night, we both rambled on and on about random stories. After that one date, we both knew that we had found our person. From that day on, we have been inseparable.
