Our story sings of the unfailing love of God and the thread of two people who were running after Christ and just so happened to run into each other. What began as the most unexpected connection turned into a beautiful reflection of God’s heart for us. We met at 1051 Baxter during the very first FRAIS Social on April 2nd, 2023, and it wasn’t long before we became friends. After many months of avoidance from me and consistent pursuit from Tolu, we went on our “first date” on August 11th, 2023. Neither of us knew it was a date at the time - but from that day on, we never stopped dating each other. We became official on November 19th, 2023, and quickly knew this was someone God had set aside just for us. Through dating, we’ve learned what it looks like to show up for one another, serve each other, and pursue God together - something we plan to commit our lives to forever. What began as a friendship has turned into the most unexpected love story, one that we’re excited to see continue to unfold for the rest of our lives.
