We met through a mutual friend, who happens to be one of the maids of honor. I had a formal for my sorority and wasn't bringing a date with me, but Spencer had mentioned wanting to go to the formal since he was friends with Kate and one of his friends was also going. Long story short, Kate set us up and we ended up going to that formal together. I remember when we were walking on our way to hang out and get ready beforehand, my heel kept coming off, and every single time Spencer would slow down and wait for me to make sure I didn't fall behind. He even offered to hold the back of my dress for me so it wasn't dragging on the ground. After the formal, we went back to Kate's apartment to hang out for a bit and Spencer & I were sitting on Kate's balcony. While we sat out there, we just started talking and getting to know each other. The following day, I had asked Spencer to meet me at a bar that I was at with a few of my friends, and we stayed there talking and getting to know each other for hours. We've been best friends since then, and have continued to fall more in love with each other every day since.
